Since becoming the first ever winner of ITV's Big Talent Competition in 1996, Paul has almost single-handedly revived the unfashionable art of ventriloquism in the UK. As at ease entertaining HRH Prince Charles at "The Prince's Trust 21st Birthday Gala" as a late show at The Comedy Store, he is one of very few young comedians to have true cross-over appeal.
