John Kurschner "Kursh" has been performing Stand-Up comedy for appx 5 yrs and has perfecting his craft primarily in the NY/NJ area. John Kurschner Jr was born and raised in Staten Island, NY and now lives in Matawan, NJ. "The Kursh" has been brushing up on the craft of Stand-up comedy by doing a well known open-mic at the Village Lantern. The Kursh is a familiar face in NYC's Laugh Lounge for the past 3 years. Your not going to get "clean cut" comedy from this 30 year old electrical worker, but on the other hand; your not going to hear gutter mouth comedy. Kursh knows theres a fine line between tacky, trashy comedy and racially, sexually driven stand-up. Currently John Kurschner is preparing for a his next appearence where he'll be opening for the talented Jim Mendrinos and his "Home Grown Comedy" show in SINY on Dec 10th, 2010. Kursh is also working on a side project with 16 yr old comedian Peter Davidson and "youtube legend" Mike Barone called "Whats up Staten Island."
