When Michael was an extremely shy eight-year-old growing up in Orlando, Florida, he found his parent’s VHS camcorder and started shooting his own sketches and commercial parodies. From that moment on, Michael discovered his love and talent for making people laugh and has been doing just that ever since. He has been featured on Will Ferrell’s website “Funny Or Die” many times, a sketch he wrote, directed, and starred in was featured in the Huffington Post, and he was also featured on the Oxygen Network’s television series “Pretty Wicked”. He has written for National Lampoon’s website, their nationally syndicated radio show on XM Satellite radio, and he has developed television shows for various executive producers, production companies, and television networks.

When Michael isn’t writing, producing, and acting in his own sketches and various other projects, he can be found performing stand-up comedy. His last appearance on The Comedy Store’s main stage was such a huge success that he was invited back to do a twenty-minute set. Michael has also performed at the Hollywood Improv, The Laugh Factor, and The Comedy Cellar in New York City.

Michael is currently studying and performing at the improv/sketch theater, The Upright Citizens Brigade in Los Angeles. He also studied sketch writing at Improv Olympic West and he is a contributing writer to their weekly sketch comedy show “Top Story Weekly”. One of the sketches that he wrote parodying CNN’s show “Rick’s List” was featured by the show’s host, Rick Sanchez. In addition, Michael has trained with The Groundlings Theater and BANG Improvisation Studio.

Some very memorable characters from Michael’s sketches include: • Xavier Montclair, a very eccentric cell phone ringtone composer • Chuck Yeyghur, an angry one-eyed pilot • Paula Deen, Food Network Star • Toni-Jo Yarbrough, a Southern Baptist mother • Tim Gunn, television personality from “Project Runway” • Mike, a shy Facebook stalker • Michael Tyra, a lawyer that only represents people injured by Naomi Campbell • Boom Operator, a boom operator that is the James Bond of the audio world

After attending an engineering program in high school with the intent of earning a college degree in aeronautical engineering, Michael decided that he couldn’t ignore his love for comedy, so he decided to attend Florida State University, where he quickly made a name for himself as a senior staff writer for the university’s newspaper. Some of his articles and columns were syndicated to various newspapers around the country. Michael also hosted and contributed to many of the talk shows on the university’s radio station WVFS. During his junior year, Michael created, wrote and starred in his own sketch comedy show on the campus television network that became one of the most popular and most memorable television shows in Florida State University’s history.

Michael recently appeared in the very popular “Co-workers In a Barely Different Dimension”, a web series showcased on the popular "untelevised television network" Channel 101.com.
