Born and raised on Long Island, insisted on wearing a Little House on the Prairie bonnet for all of first grade, had a somewhat unhealthy obsession with "The Golden Girls" and was a favorite target of the 8th grade bully. After a transformation from odd bird to ugly duckling to reluctant peacock, she is now married with a baby and living in Los Angeles where she starts every morning the healthy way: by looking to see if she has the same number of Facebook friends that she had the day before. Her husband tells her she was rejected by the sororities in college because she was either "too weird or too butch." She thinks she may have ADD, but does not want to take any medication for fear it will take away any shred of charm that's left of her. She is a Groundlings-trained comedian, actor and voiceover artist who has appeared on NBC ("Love Bites"), Comedy Central ("Strangers with Candy"), Nickelodeon ("The Nick Cannon Show") and the Oxygen Network, where she was a series regular on "Trackers." She has voiced several Disney DVD games including Hannah Montana, High School Musical and Camp Rock. As a standup comic, she's played all over New York and Los Angeles, including Gotham Comedy Club, The Comedy Store, Carolines and many others. She has written and showcased original sketch shows at PSNBC (NY) and Second City (LA) and co-created “Subway Soaps,” a series of sketches onboard the New York City subway that was described by the New York Times as “Pleasantly surprising” and featured on CNN's "Showbiz Today." Her sketch show "We're Not That Way" was an L.A. Weekly Pick of the Week, and the paper deemed her "an excitingly intense performer." She produced and emceed the long-running comedy show No Drink Maximum @ the Parlour, and currently performs standup comedy every Thursday night at Skinny’s Lounge in the Noho Arts District, as well as all over Los Angeles.
