Ward Anderson

Ward Anderson Ward Anderson 2 Photos

High-energy comedian Ward Anderson seemed to explode onto the scene out of the blue and, instantly, was everywhere. In reality, Anderson has always been out there, working in comedy clubs, private shows, and colleges all over North America. He tours a very demanding forty-six weeks per year, a routine that has taken him throughout the Continental US, as well as throughout Canada. His rapid-fire delivery and offbeat stage performances have quickly made him a favorite of audiences everywhere. Anderson is a comedian who needs to be seen live and in person to be truly enjoyed. Anderson is the author of the bestselling humor book, The Ultimate Bachelor’s Guide, a satire about life as a single man. Thanks to Anderson’s constant touring and his growing fan base, The Ultimate Bachelor’s Guide shot up on the Amazon.com Bestseller List, reaching the number two spot on both the “Comic Fiction” and “Contemporary” Fiction charts.

Anderson has also acted in everything from theatre to film to television, appearing in stage performances of MacBeth, Romeo and Juliet, Chicago, and Fool for Love, as well as appearances on The Speed Network, Global TV, the syndicated NBC program “Daytime”, and the popular MuchMusic program “Video on Trial”. He has been a guest on “The Bob and Tom Show”, “Breakfast Television” and several other radio and television talk shows. Besides working as a performer, Anderson is an accomplished director, having helmed both music videos and TV commercials. He wrote, directed, and starred in his own TV comedy special, Americanadian and, that same year, hosted his own radio talk show.

Heard on Newstalk 1010AM in Toronto, The Ward Anderson Show was an instant hit with listeners. A combination of comedy, entertainment, and political talk, the show was noted for the same offbeat humor that Anderson brings to his live comedy shows. When he’s not on tour, Anderson continues to work in radio, TV, and film. Most recently, he completed work on a novel, I’ll Be Here All Week.

Born and raised in Atlanta, Ward Anderson is a graduate of The University of Georgia. His website, wardanderson.net, is a popular destination for his fans, and receives thousands of visitors each month. One of the fastest rising young comedians working today, he has also been featured in Georgia Magazine, The Detroit News, The Toronto Star, and Billboard Magazine. Always entertaining and definitely hilarious, Ward Anderson is a comedian you do not want to miss.

Bob AKA Owner

As a kid, I always liked comedy and would listen to albums by George Carlin, Bob Newhart, Bill Cosby, and Lenny Bruce. Despite my enjoyment of these great talents, I decided to pursue an unfunny career and left Los Angeles for San Francisco State College to be a lawyer. When that did not hold my attention, I switched majors and ended up getting a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications.
