JERMAINE L was born in Washington D.C., and grew up in Burtonsville, Maryland. He is known for making facial expressions, and having a distinct voice. Throughout his childhood, making people laugh and using his unique sense of creativity made him stand out.

During college, he starred in many independent shorts, including Practice Session, and Peace of Mind, which made Top Ten in the Triggerstreet Film Festival in 2003. In the same year, Jermaine became the first national winner of the WB Casting Call contest, which included a national television appearance on the WB.

Jermaine first performed stand-up at an early age during a talent night at a church in Washington D.C, and received his first standing ovation that same night.

Jermaine has performed in various areas in Washington D.C., Maryland and Virginia, before moving to Los Angeles. Jermaine’s club appearances include:

Hollywood Improv, The Comedy Store, Laugh Factory, Ice House Comedy Club, Comedy Act Theater, HaHa Cafe. You may have also seen him on the show "Everybody Hates Chris," as well as some commercials.

Despite my enjoyment of these great talents, I decided to pursue an unfunny career and left Los Angeles for San Francisco State College to be a lawyer.
