Danny Lobell started out in New York City in 2002. He became a headliner and built up a following on his podcast, "Comical Radio," which was the first ever podcast to feature interviews with comedians. On it, he interviewed comedians like George Carlin, Chris Rock, and Billy Connolly, along with entertainers such as Larry King and Dick Cavett.
During this time, he captivated audiences in England, Scotland, Ireland, Wales, Spain, South Africa, France, and Belgium with his surrealist observations and vivid storytelling.
In 2012, he appeared on Chicago Public Media's "This American Life," on which he told a story about raising a rooster in Brooklyn with his gangster neighbor. He was also a guest on WTF with Marc Maron, The Artie Lange Show, and My Damn Channel's Love Me Cat. In 2015, he did a TEDx Talk based off his "This American Life" story.
After relocating from NYC to Los Angeles, Danny started "Modern Day Philosophers," a podcast that partners a modern or ancient philosopher with a comedian. He also hosts "The Mostly Bull Market" podcast on CBS' Play.It. The show features investment advice and money news from Danny and a comedian guest.
Danny frequently performs at The Hollywood Improv, The Laugh Factory, and The Nerdmelt in Los Angeles.
