As a comedian, writer, and on-air radio personality, Andy Ruther always keeps things fresh and interesting. Andy is the founder and host of the Dirty Sports podcast, which is a bi-weekly show that gives an edgy take on sports. Andy also held prior stints as a staff writer and on air personality for Dirty Pop with Lance Bass on SiriusXM.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Andy grew up loving sports, comedy, and embarrassing his parents. While attending Saint Louis University, he made his comedy debut at a sorority talent competition. This was fitting, because four years later, he founded the Original Frat Boys of Comedy. For three years he toured across the country, performing at more than 50 universities and college campuses.
In addition to writing for Dirty Pop with Lance Bass, Andy wrote a national weekly countdown show, The Pop2Kountdown with Lance Bass, which aired every weekend on SiriusXM.
Andy has also built a massive social media presence and is a co-founder/writer behind some of the most popular twitter feeds. He currently has a total reach of over 1.5 million followers, including more than 64,000 personal followers, and over 87,000 followers for his Dirty Sports podcast.
As a comedian, writer, and host, Andy never hesitates to share his opinion. He always keeps things informative, entertaining, and most importantly, funny. When he’s not working he enjoys Netflix and Taco Bell, and buying random things at Costco.
