As a comedian and writer/on-air personality for Dirty Pop with Lance Bass on SiriusXM, Andy Ruther always manages to keep things fresh and interesting. Along with his daily radio gig, Andy is the founder and host of the Dirty Sports podcast, a bi-weekly show on that gives an edgy take on sports.
Originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, Andy grew up loving sports, comedy, and embarrassing his parents. He made his comedy debut at a sorority talent competition while attending Saint Louis University. This was fitting, because 4 years later he founded the Original Frat Boys of Comedy. For 3 years he toured across the country, performing at over 55 universities and college campuses.
In addition to writing for Dirty Pop with Lance Bass, Andy writes a national weekly countdown show, The Pop2Kountdown with Lance Bass, which airs every weekend on SiriusXM.
Andy’s also built a massive social media presence and is a founder/writer behind some of the most popular twitter feeds. He currently has a total reach of over 1 million followers, including more than 62,000 personal followers, and over 86,000 followers for his Dirty Sports podcast.
As a comedian, writer, and host, Andy never hesitates to share his opinion. He always keeps things informative, entertaining, and most importantly, funny. When he’s not working Andy enjoys Netflix, Taco Bell, and buying random things at Costco.
