From selling out shows to entertaining the masses over the airwaves, the world's youngest touring comic hypnotist, Ross Dillon, has come a long way from his start performing stand-up comedy in his high school talent show. Born in Indianapolis, Indiana, Ross credits his parents for all of their encouragement and motivation to be the best person he possibly could. Even at an early age, Ross was no stranger to the stage. By the time he graduated high school, he had appeared in over 30 plays and musicals at community playhouses and schools. While still in high school, Ross began experimenting with stand-up comedy. But it wasn’t until 2008 that Ross was introduced to hypnosis. While hosting a weekend radio sports show in Bowling Green, Kentucky, world famous comedy hypnotist Rich Guzzi joined him in studio and hypnotized him on-air. It was at that point his life took off. Under the guidance and training of Rich, Ross has mastered hypnosis and is taking it on the road to entertain crowds across the country and help as many people as possible in the process.
Ross attended high school just north of Nashville, Tennessee. He graduated from Western Kentucky University with a Bachelor Degree in Broadcast Journalism. Ross worked in sports and talk radio for several years, during and after college. Traveling with his parents at a young age, Ross has lived in Indiana, Ohio, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Kentucky. He currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee.
Not only is Ross Dillon the youngest touring comedy hypnotist in the states today, his show is also a three part experience. With stand-up comedy, hypnosis, and motivational incentives, it truly becomes a grade ‘A’ specialty show.
Unlike your typical stand-up comedy show, the comedy hypnosis show hits you on a personal level. Dillon may be the hypnotist and comedian, but it is actually you, your friends, and fellow audience members who are the stars of the show. Members of the audience aren’t hypnotized against their will, nor will Dillon have any of the subjects barking like a dog or clucking like a chicken. Watch as one mind will be created on the stage which will enable the participants to experience a deeper state of hypnosis and relaxation than other hypnotists use.
Don’t be fooled, Ross Dillon is still a stand-up comic and that becomes quite evident as soon as he takes to the stage. Dillon has been performing stand-up comedy since he was a teenager. His stage presence instantly hits home with the audience. Even his preliminary talk before the hypnosis show begins has people rolling in their seats. The way Dillon handles the subjects on stage and the facial expressions he uses throughout the show are sure to keep you laughing.
