A native of Northern California, Jennifer Ann Burton is a graduate of the UCLA Theater Department and trained with The Groundlings and Upright Citizen’s Brigade in Los Angeles. She performed for two years at the internationally acclaimed Boom Chicago Comedy Theater in Amsterdam, where she learned three words of Dutch and wrote and performed for Comedy Central Holland before returning to Los Angeles. She was flown to New York by NBC to audition for “Saturday Night Live.” She has performed at Westside Comedy, iOWest, and Second City, and was a member of the long-running improv group People’s Republic of Improv. She was a participant in the critically acclaimed show "Mortified" and is a regular participant in the Hollywood Fringe Festival, performing with the amazingly talented group Lost Moon Radio (winner of Top of the Fringe and Best Comedy 2012). She performs regularly with and is a member of the teaching staff at Westside Comedy in Santa Monica, and a performer and writer with the sketch comedy group “Titled Sketch Project” headed by Dan Oster (MADTv). Her television credits include “The Office,” “Criminal Minds: Suspect Behavior,” “Hot In Cleveland” and “Joey.” This year she sold and developed a comedy pilot script with NBC and Hazy Mills Productions. She can currently be seen performing at Westside Comedy Theater with Mission IMPROVable, with BoomTang! at iOWest, and with Pasadena Gun Club at The Improv Space. She also dabbles in stand-up, and deeply enjoys writing about herself in the third person.
