An ambitious firecracker from the South, Bo made the move out west, in the summer of 2009, to dance around in the sunshine and endless opportunities of southern California.
Bo's interest in the entertainment industry developed as a toddler when she began booking various print and runway modeling work. Her natural rhythm and passion for performing led her to pursue technical training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Contemporary, HipHop, Hard & Soft shoe Irish, and clogging styles of dance.
Bo's dance training provided numerous opportunities to perform with The Miami City Ballet in George Balanchine's "The Nutcracker." Bo's commitment to attending yearly summer dance, acting and musical theatre intensives further expressed her undying passion for stardom. Growing up on stage through her grade school years, it was a natural decision she would continue studying dance and theatre at the collegiate level, and for years to come.
After successfully navigating her first year in Los Angeles, Bo decided to try something new. A chance rendezvous at the Hollywood Improv, with some renowned comedic writers, persuaded Bo to begin a career as a standup comedian. Bo can be seen performing nightly at major comedy clubs around Los Angeles and hosting "The Bo Sellers Show" bi-monthly at Osaka Joe's Sushi in Morro Bay, CA. It is very clear she is an extremely funny lady with an addictive energy consistently threatening audiences with a good time!
Bo received a Bachelor of Arts in Communication from THE Florida State University with minors in Theatre and French. Bo is a standup comedienne, actress, dancer, host, contortionist, writer, and freelance publicist in the entertainment & nonprofit industries.
Bo Sellers resides in Hollywood, CA and is currently available for new comedic, commercial and theatrical bookings.
