During the November taping of the “Million Dollar Wedding,” Queen Aishah started out as an audience member, as she took a break from her self-titled tour. Once given an opportunity to make a humorous inquiry with the show’s producer, Aishah’s candor quickly caused the producer to invite her to the stage to fill her hand with a microphone. Queen Aishah left Oprah’s audience wanting for more. Featured in Verizon’s Communications, Inc. television, radio and print DSL campaign, Aishah served as Verizon’s representative during the 2006 Essence Music Festival in Houston, Texas during which she shared the stage with acclaimed comedians, Steve Harvey and Cedric the Entertainer.
