Perry Kurtz:

Perry Kurtz is an Interactive and Motivational Entertainer bringing laughter & music to people around the world, and of all ages. He is the only known freestyle rapper that raps about whatever the audience is doing AS they do it, to ANY song, & has won 45 out of 47 rap battles.

Perry Kurtz started standup in Philly in 1974, & moved to San Francisco in 1979 when Comedy was peaking.

Three months later he got his first paying "gig" as the emcee at the Off Broadway Male Burlesque Club on Broadway. Three WEEKS later, at the request of screaming female patrons, he gave birth to his famous "Comic Strip Routine" parody.

In 1983, he left "Broadway" and hit the road, averaging 30 to 40 weeks a year headlining comedy clubs across North America. In 1989, he relocated to Los Angeles, when he became a paid regular at The Comedy Store in Hollywood and Dangerfields in New York City.

He has appeared on Let’s Make A Deal, America’s Funniest People, The Tonight Show, and America’s Got Talent. He currently resides in Hollywood, works full time as a Corporate & Senior Entertainer, Club Comedian, Humor Motivator and Instructor, and appears nightly in comedy clubs and private/corporate shows around the world.

When that did not hold my attention, I switched majors and ended up getting a Bachelor of. Art Degree in Communications.
