With IAN HARRIS, TK KELLY, MARIA SHEHATA, MICHAEL MAGID, BLAKE WEXLER, RYE SILVERMAN, CLAUDE STUART and DWAYNE PERKINS
"RECYCLED BABIES" is a silly sketch comedy squad with a “dark” heart. The group blends loveably damaged characters in somewhat familiar situations skewed to the absurd and twisted. The intertwined universe where these sketches live allows the funny to come before the conscience.
The cast of Recycled Babies is a blend of established and rising stand-up comedians, actors and comedy writers. The Babies have been developing a fantastic underground and online following. Check out their bios and pictures right here:
This show will feature the stars of "RECYCLED BABIES" performing stand-up, and the group will also be screening some of their most popular sketches. And following the performance, there's a post-show celebration where you can meet and party with The Babies themselves!
A fascinating and funny mix of spot-on impressions and clever, cutting-edge comedy, Ian Harris' act has landed him coveted appearances on JIMMY KIMMEL LIVE!, COMEDY CENTRAL, DirecTV's MMA drama "KINGDOM", as well as his own hour TV special "CRITICAL & THINKING"" which AXS TV called "A truly masterful hour of wit, humor and derisive jabbing." A top headliner for over 20 years, Ian was also named #25 on Entertainment Journal's Top 100 Comedians list, was a semi-finalist in Comedy Central's “Laugh Riots Competition” and dubbed “Top Character Comedian in Town” by Backstage West. His keen grasp of science, evidenced by his satirical, skeptical take on everything from religion to global warming-deniers and beyond, has also earned him comparisons to favorite thinking-man's comics like Lenny Bruce, Bill Maher and George Carlin. With a unique point of view and an impressive array of comedian talents, Ian delivers a thought provoking style of stand-up all his own.
A native New Yorker, TK Kelly now lives in Los Angeles as a writer for Tosh.0 on Comedy Central.
He has performed at clubs across the country like Gotham, the Improv, the Comedy Store, and Standup NY, and has written for Comedy Central Studios, Second City, Funny or Die and SportsNet NY.
He co-hosts “Movie Night,” a weekly podcast with fellow comedian Dwayne Perkins, and also runs the popular LA standup show, Warp Zone Comedy at the Virgil.
As a kid, I always liked comedy and would listen to albums by George Carlin, Bob Newhart, Bill Cosby, and Lenny Bruce. Despite my enjoyment of these great talents, I decided to pursue an unfunny career and left Los Angeles for San Francisco State College to be a lawyer. When that did not hold my attention, I switched majors and ended up getting a Bachelor of. Art Degree in Communications.
