From before-they-were-famous to current appearances, they’ve had comics like Sarah Silverman, Daniel Tosh, Aziz Ansari, Dane Cook, Dave Chappelle, Joe Rogan, Marc Maron, Jeff Ross, Whitney Cummings, Chelsea Handler and Ben Gleib. Every Thursday at 10 p.m.
Jacob Sirof was born and raised in San Francisco, California during the "Comedy Boom" of the 1980's.
There were few places more booming than San Francisco, so nobody was too surprised when Jacob announced at an early age that he wanted to be a comedian when he grew up. Today, Jacob still hasn't grown up, although he is a comedian. As a young adult, he started doing stand-up in his hometown, and quickly joined the ranks of a promising young crop of local talent, which has since been dubbed "The New Wave" of San Francisco comedy. In 2006, Jacob was selected to perform at the prestigious "Just For Laughs" comedy festival in Montreal, Canada, where he got very drunk and high with comedians and industry-types from all over the world.
His television appearances include "Live At Gotham" on Comedy Central and "Down and Dirty With Jim Norton" on HBO. He has been featured in the San Francisco Chronicle, as well as the Hollywood Reporter, and performs across much of the known galaxy. Jacob currently resides in Santa Monica, California with his wife, fellow comic Sherry Sirof, and their daughter, Wynter Moon.
He would like to do comedy for ever and ever, yet he is a mere mortal, and will most likely die someday.
In 2012 NBC, ABC, and CBS casting voted Ryan the best performer in the Seattle International Comedy Competition. Ryan was also voted Boston’s Best Young Comic by AOL.com and has opened up for Dana Carvey from Saturday Night Live. Touring at over 100 colleges per year, Ryan’s comedy has been featured on NESN, FunnyOrDie.com, and the Bonnaroo Comedy College Tour.
As a dating coach, Ryan has worked with thousands of men and women from around the world both in person and through live shows, teaching the secrets to finding love based on his best selling book, “The Nine Rules of Attraction.”
Nicknamed a “Health Champion” because of his obsession with living a healthy life and his love for talking about health issues, Ryan effectively cured himself from the complications of type-1 diabetes by following a specific health regimen. Ryan is also a former professional hockey player and still plays currently in LA.
Ryan’s high energy act combines the topics of dating and health to create a show which Northeastern University called “The best live show we have ever seen!“
