Henrietta Komras: Before she started doing comedy, Henrietta was married to a rabbi for twenty years, “For our honeymoon, we went to Israel. He took me to an Israeli disco called, “let my people go go.” She started thinking about doing comedy because everyone said she was funny at temple. Finally, she left the rabbi and headed for Hollywood. In her stand-up routine, Henrietta’s beyond cougar, she’s a saber-toothed tiger, “Young guys love me and it’s not just cuz I buy them liquor.” When everyone told her she had a great ass, she started incorporating that into her stand-up routine and it has now become her slogan, “I’m hot, check out this ass.” Crowds go wild when she tells them about her off-the-wall “marketing” techniques to get men, “I hung a banner on the outside of my apartment building. I live next to the freeway. It says, “If you were banging Henrietta, you’d be home by now.” A hilarious blend of a female Rodney Dangerfield with tinges of Carol Burnett, Joan Rivers, and Gilda Radner, the off-the-wall, non-stop ball of energy that is Henrietta has developed a loyal fan base from her performances at The Comedy Store, The Improv, The Laugh Factory and on television in Penn & Teller’s Bullshit where her improvised scene in “Does Size Matter” continues to get rave reviews and over 6 millions hits on the Internet. Her autobiographical, hilarious solo show: Please Love Me, got rave reviews at The Hollywood Fringe Festival Whether she's jumping on men's laps, dragging men onstage to sing and dance "The Henrietta," offering "Sex Tips from Henrietta," selling photos of her jean-class "ass" on stage, or creating her own comedy/music/animation videos (more than a dozen on YouTube), Henrietta is the never-give-up comedienne who has a Master's Degree in education, and actually enjoys being fired since getting canned from over 50 insipidly dull day jobs. With her hilarious attitude and razor-sharp timing, Henrietta gets cheers on almost every lone as she shares her “never give up” attitude with her audience,” Forget the personals, I put an ad in the obituaries that says, “sure you miss her but she’s want you to have a good time so call Henrietta.”
