Darren amazes and amuses audiences with his blend of unique multicultural comedy. Adopted into a foster family in Fresno, his parents are Caucasian and his two sisters are Native American and Latina. Growing up in a racially mixed, blue-collar neighborhood, Darren definitely stood out with his red hair and black framed glasses, but went from nerd to cool when he became a rapper and breakdancer. He sees himself as a "fish out of water" and this is the core of his accessible comedy.
He has appeared on numerous TV shows including The Tonight Show with Jay Leno, Comedy Central’s Premium Blend and BET’s Comic View. He was also in the film Be Cool starring John Travolta. He performed as part of “Latin Palooza” with fellow comics Alex Reymundo (The Original Latin Kings of Comedy), Willie Barcena (The Tonight Show with Jay Leno) and Joey Medina (Loco Comedy Jam). He also appeared on Showtime’s Latino Laugh Festival.
