Joe Tex has been performing, teaching and producing comedy professionally since 1998. He began his study at the now legendary college training ground Theatre Strike Force at the University of Florida where he co-founded the highly successful improv and sketch comedy troupe ACII. Tex then headed to Chicago where he performed for two years in the long running hit show Tony N Tina's Wedding, and took countless workshops and classes with some of the biggest names in comedy at the iO and Annoyance Theatres. Returning home to New York, Joe Tex was cast in Friday Night Face Off, soon after serving as Creative Director from 2003 to 2007. Today, Tex is the Director of Operations for Face Off Unlimited LLC, and a Teaching Artist with Face Off University. Face Off is a multifaceted, improv comedy entertainment production company based in NYC. Joe is the co-creator and co-star of the acclaimed long-form show A Whole 'Nother Level, that tours the nations Colleges, Universities, and festivals. He can be seen regularly on Funny Or Die, PMSports, and performing in BATSU!, Face Off's newest creation. BATSU! is a weekly, open run live comedy, Japanese game-show in NYC's East Village Monday nights at 8pm at JeBon on St. Marks. Joe Tex is a former US Marine and decorated veteran of Operation Desert Storm, earning him the Kuwaiti Liberation Medal. Joe is currently co-writing the improv textbook "SHORT FORM! An Advanced Guide".

Bob AKA Owner

As a kid, I always liked comedy and would listen to albums by George Carlin, Bob Newhart, Bill Cosby, and Lenny Bruce. Despite my enjoyment of these great talents, I decided to pursue an unfunny career and left Los Angeles for San Francisco State College to be a lawyer. When that did not hold my attention, I switched majors and ended up getting a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications.
