Hailing from sunny Scotland, Roddy MacInnes has been both writing and performing stand up and sketch comedy since 2006. A contributing writer/performer of Edinburgh based sketch group ‘Comedy and That’, BBC Comedy Unit’s Rough Cuts and The Edinburgh Revue, he has also performed at the Edinburgh, Glasgow, Cork and Montreal Comedy Festivals. He can now be found as a regular on the New York comedy circuit.
He lives on the Upper East Side with his wife, Kerrie.

As a kid, I always liked comedy and would listen to albums by George Carlin, Bob Newhart, Bill Cosby, and Lenny Bruce. Despite my enjoyment of these great talents, I decided to pursue an unfunny career and left Los Angeles for San Francisco State College to be a lawyer. When that did not hold my attention, I switched majors and ended up getting a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications.
