The LOZADA LOWDOWN LIVE is a stand-up comedy event that brings the hilarious but literate aspects of urban life to the fore-front. It is an outstanding comedy showcase that features seasoned professional comedians that have headlined across the world. They’ve also been featured on HBO, SHO, LETTERMAN, LENO, and CONAN to name a few.

The show is hosted by ANGELO LOZADA, hailed as one of the top 50 latino comics in the country. His brand of humor is edgy, but familial, which allows the audience to feel at ease, with the understanding that they are about to have a great time. ANGELO then introduces his comedy guests that do 20 – 30 minute comedy sets.

As a kid, I always liked comedy and would listen to albums by George Carlin, Bob Newhart, Bill Cosby, and Lenny Bruce. Despite my enjoyment of these great talents, I decided to pursue an unfunny career and left Los Angeles for San Francisco State College to be a lawyer. When that did not hold my attention, I switched majors and ended up getting a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications.
