AVERY PEARSON loves comedy and is passionate about performance. He is an LA-based Actor, Comedian, Writer, and Musician originally from Toronto, Canada. He performs with THE GODDAMN COMEDY JAM (Comedy Central's NY Comedy Festival, Just For Laughs Festival, The Kennedy Center, Blue Whale and LA local shows), and tours the US performing alongside comedian Adam Ray (MadTV, Ghostbusters).

At the Hollywood Improv, he hosts 'The 88 Show with Avery Pearson', a Late Night Talk Show where the band is the host and the host is the band.

Avery is a regular to the LA Comedy scene hosting three weekly shows at The Hollywood Improv, is a resident piano player in The Comedy Store's Original Room and co-hosts Funny Or Die's Office Stand Up Livestream show, reaching 100k viewers weekly.

TV: MASTERS OF SEX, SUITS, THE LA COMPLEX. This Fall, Avery will play a Lead in Jillian Armenente's feature film STUCK opposite Joel McHale, Paul Scheer & Heather Matarazzo. He will also perform on Season 2 of Big Jay Oakerson's 'What's Your F@%king Deal?' on SEESO.

Avery is a member of SAG-AFTRA & ACTRA. He is a graduate of The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre and UCBLA Improv.

As a kid, I always liked comedy and would listen to albums by George Carlin, Bob Newhart, Bill Cosby, and Lenny Bruce. Despite my enjoyment of these great talents, I decided to pursue an unfunny career and left Los Angeles for San Francisco State College to be a lawyer. When that did not hold my attention, I switched majors and ended up getting a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Communications.
